Breakfast
2 eggs omelet with bacon and cheddar cheese and a small green salad with spinach.

Lunch
Atkins Bar

Dinner
Hamburger steak and a green salad with ranch dressing

Dessert
Faux apple cobbler with a dollop of whip cream sweetened with stevia

Another day has come and gone. I was so busy at school today that I did not have a chance to grab some lunch. The Atkins bar was  not the best choice but at least I stayed on plan. I will be picking up some protein shakes that I can have with me for emergencies. Hope all is well.

Breakfast
2 eggs omelet with cauliflower herb puree and a small green salad with spinach, celery and red cabbage

Lunch
Planned off plan excursion for my daughter's birthday at a local Chinese Restaurant

Dinner
1 Bratwurst, cauliflower puree and a pork and brocolli stirfry





Dessert
Faux apple cobbler with a dollop of whip cream sweetened with stevia


I will post the recipe for this new healthier desert as soon as I perfect it. I am still trying to get used to the different Stevia options. So far I must say that I have been rather disappointed.. I definitely miss my Lankanto S that I could get in Japan. If anyone has a favorite Stevia feel free to share :)

Breakfast
2 fried eggs and a green salad with spinach, celery and cheese and a bowl of miso soup

Lunch
2 Roasted Chicken thighs, green beans with bacon and mashed ranch cauliflower.

Dinner
1/2 hamburger steak with cheese, broccoli sticks and cheery tomatoes and some sugar free pudding

Today, was my nephews birthday barbecue. I was very strong and did not partake of any of the garbage or birthday cake that was readily available.

Breakfast
2 eggs with some brocolli

Lunch
Atkins Bar and a green salad with pecans and parmezan cheese

Dinner
3 sugarless sausages and some broccoli, celery, cauliflower and 2 mini carrots...
Sugar free  Pudding

Today, my cousin called and asked if my family and I wanted to go to the lake for some boating and barbeque. We went and I stayed on plan.. I shied away from hot dogs and ate the zero carb sausages that I brought along :) I would say my over all nutrition was not very good though..

Will do better tomorrow!

Where has time gone??????

It has been so long since I last posted. So many things have happened. But the most important thing is that I am back and on plan again. Here is my menu for the day. I will be posting regularly. I look forward to reading your blogs as I continue my journey.

Breakfast
2 eggs

Lunch

leftover cabbage & pork soup


Dinner
Ham steak & Porter House Steak
Sugar free Jello and Pudding

I should have had a salad at dinner.. ran out of time..LOL  I wanted to have a steak for dinner so I went to the store and found a beautiful porter house for me and my wife but as I was walking down the meat aisle I saw this ham steak that looked wonderful so we put one steak back and shared the steaks.
